HISTORY, MUSIC, AND MOVEMENT COLLIDE IN THIS THEATRICAL JOURNEY
Are you ready to rock? This darkly funny, genre-defying play tells the story of a Khmer Rouge survivor returning to Cambodia after thirty years, just as his daughter prepares to prosecute one of the country's most notorious war criminals. With an onstage band bringing foot-stomping Cambodian oldies and contemporary Dengue Fever hits to life, the electric play shifts back and forth in time, revealing family secrets that showcase the enduring power of music and the human spirit.
I am proud to serve as Fight Director for this production, helping bring the show's physical storytelling and action to life with authenticity and intensity.
Bard on the Beach
Bard on the Beach 2025
📅 June 10 – September 20, 2025
📍 BMO Mainstage
This summer, I’m thrilled to be performing in Bard on the Beach, taking on two dynamic Shakespearean roles in a season full of love, laughter, and mischief.
In Much Ado About Nothing, I play Don Pedro, the charming and quick-witted nobleman who orchestrates love matches, stirs up mischief, and commands loyalty in a town recovering from war. This production, directed by Johnna Wright with additional text by Erin Shields, blends romance, humor, and intrigue in one of Shakespeare’s most beloved comedies.
Meanwhile, in The Two Gentlemen of Verona, I step into the role of Valentine, a young man navigating the tangled web of friendship and love—this time with an electric 1980s twist! With a soundtrack full of iconic dance hits and power ballads, this reimagining of Shakespeare’s early comedy promises big laughs, big emotions, and even a scene-stealing real-life dog playing the infamous Crab. Directed by Dean Paul Gibson, this nostalgic, high-energy production brings a fresh, colorful vibe to Shakespeare’s classic tale.
From scheming nobles to lovestruck dreamers, I can’t wait to bring these unforgettable characters to life on the BMO Mainstage. See you at Bard on the Beach!
